Texas Instruments (TXN) $29.65 +1.18%
Shares of Texas Instruments (TXN) are up and call options are active ahead of a mid-quarter update, which begins one hour after the closing bell. AmTech analysts noted this morning that they expect the chipmaker to narrow guidance around the mid-point, which should be enough reason to give shares a lift. The market seems to be discounting good news as well. TXN is up 53 cents to $29.83 and more than 22,000 calls have traded, compared to 9,220 puts.
