Gold Fields (GFI) options saw action throughout the trading session today, with traders leaning heavily on the bearish side of the trade after gold settled down $33.50 to $888 an ounce. Silver lost 42 cents to $16.89. GFI gave up 26 cents to $13.57 and more than 45,000 GFI puts have traded, compared to 10,000 call options. The April 12.5 puts saw the most volume (34,000 contracts) and sentiment is 84 percent bearish.
