Quest Software (QSFT, news, chart, volatility) is seeing active trading after the company unvieled a new version of its performance analysis software. At the Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco, Quest announced the latest verions of its Foglight Database Performance Analysis. The software is used to capture and analyze database workloads to identify performance issues. Investors don’t seem impressed. Shares are down 49 cents to $14.18. Sentiment seems a lot more bullish in the options market, with 4,300 QSFT calls and only 60 puts trading on the day. The October 15s are the most actives, with 2,200 traded and 59 percent trading on the offer.
