PowerShares DB US Dollar Index Bearish Fund (UDN) is an exchange-traded fund designed to track being short the US Dollar against the Euro, Japanese Yen, British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Swedish Krona and Swiss Franc. Some traders seemed to like the idea Tuesday, as options volume rose to two times the usual and today’s open interest data suggests new positions in Jun 27 calls. UDN gained 2 cents to $25.42 Tuesday.
