The US Dollar Settled Euro Index (.XDE) is up $1.88 to $136.93 after the euro smoked the dollar over the past two days. XDE, which tracks the EU/USD currency pair X 100, is up from 125, or 9.5 percent, since March 5. In the options market, the XDE June 136 straddle saw action, as it appears one strategist sold it 1000X and collected $10.00, perhaps expecting the euro to remain near 1.36 or at least between the straddle’s breakeven of 1.26 and 1.46.
