iVolatility.com is a great source of options analysis and information. As the name of the web site suggests, the tools are focused on volatility. But it doesn’t end there. Options traders can find a host of other tools including educational articles, calculators, scanners, charts, and webinars. Many traders start with the free package, then add some extra services at a moderate cost.

A lot of the free tools at iVolatility are available to registered users. The registration process takes just a few minutes. Once registered, optons traders have access to the Knowledge Base, which has links to educational articles and other content. A weekly Trading Digest gives readers a closer look at recent happenings in the options market and highlights very specific trading opportunities.

Free services include Basic Options, Basic Calculator, My Favorites, IVX Monitor. The free package gives users the ability to create groups of equities and watch their daily prices, volatility, correlation values along with historical high/low levels. Traders can also estimate fair value of option price and Greeks using Basic Calculator.

IVX Monitor is an intraday screen which shows Implied Volatility Index (IVX) for major indices and futures with the day change, 1 year high/low values and intraday vol chart.

The Basic Options service allows users to pull up charts and data on any optionable ticker symbol and also see volatility charts (like the one below).

Those services give an opportunity to search for options strategies, rank stocks by volatility and other variables, and more.

For advanced traders, IVolatlity offers a set of professional tools with price range from $60- $80 per month with a 2 week trial. This includes many real-time services such as intraday options (RT Options Scanner) and strategy scanners (RT Spread Scanner), IVolatility SDK with the access to data and ability to link to Excel or integrate into other applications.
