Interest in Motorola (MOT) continues. Shares are up 21 cents to $9 and touched a new 52-week high after the Wall Street Journal reported that the company is in talks with other US operators to sell Motorola’s new Cliq handset. In the options market, one player bought 5000 Sep 9 calls for 25 cents. Meanwhile, the Oct 8 – 10 call spread also trades 5000X. Looks like a seller, possibly closing a spread or rolling up in strikes from 8 to 10.
