LDK Solar shares have slipped 9% to $6.10 and option volume is 2x the daily average driven by an 8,000 contract opening purchase of the December $4 puts at the asking price 20c asking price. Shares of LDK, and other solar stocks, have been in decline for the past month LDK is off 40% in past five weeks and the pessimistic outlook increased following market leader First Solar (FSLR) disappointing earning’s last week.
