Forgot my extranneous thoughts on GOLD blowing up lately too.
Gold is used in NOTHING. It's an absolute useless comoodity.
Oh wait.
In addition to pricing as INTC investors.........
DRAM pricing
Polysilicon pricing
GOLD pricing

I'm thinking that there is more to gold demand than more marriages, hence why I rotated out my $HVY (gold) calls to $BYT (semi) calls today (on the analyst downgrade).
Perhaps I should rip apart the PC I have and call cash4gold.
Or?
Perhaps not.....

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't read the MS report through either. Let me know what you find out.

Thanks for the link on DRAMexchange.com btw. I don't follow it, but CNBC Europe has constantly been talking about DRAM prices on the rise.
A must have is following chip prices is the link. This not only bides for semis, but also the analysts on solar (apparently per CNBC Europe) follow the pricing as well on Solar and polysilicon.

There was some negative commentary on solar chip pricing. Thinking this out, perhaps this is the side not seen outside of DRAM pricing and perhaps the analysts are implying that polysilicon will take a hit, so will DRAM? Interesting to follow nonetheless.

Hard to trade? YES! HELL!
But makes ya think, and keeps my brain busy.

I'm siding with SIA data, hence my $BYT post on calls today Fred. Albeit it's a minimal position. Lot of sector risk with ORCL/JAVA potentially tonight, but the saga develops I guess.

I also noticed on Yahoo.... index $SOXX is now officially change to $SOX. Woohoo for us options traders. FINALLY! Whatstrading.com was first on $SOX though, I guess Yahoo lags indexes perhaps.
