In the March 6 calls, 5,630 contracts traded, 95 percent hit ask-side and open interest increased by 4,780. Open interest in June 7 calls increased by 4,926 after 5,150 traded. The top trade was 266 contracts at the offer of 35 cents. No news to explain the surge in call activity in JBLU Friday, but the overall action seemed to reflect expectations for a higher share price in the months ahead.
