It would be nice to add more stories per page… Right now on the home page, you can only see about 10 or so per page. Also, it would be nice to be able to click on someone’s name and see some detail. Like if I clicked on rainman’s name, I could see his profile, post count, last couple of comments, if they are a premium member, etc. This way you can tell if someone is a one-off stock pumper like on the google and yahoo message boards or a regular site user. A forum type interface would be a really nice touch but would probably be a lot of work and you’d need to recruit admins, moderators, etc. You should also give me free premium membership
Also maybe a strategy section where users can list some trade ideas(Ofcourse with a disclaimer about loss). And maybe even tie it to a competition/contest where the best % gain for a strategy by an expiration or exit date wins a free month of premium. I wouldn’t mind adding an entry fee to that too… say $5 per strategy or so to help fund it. Kind of like a “put your money where you mouth is” game. That sounds like fun. The money in the pool would go towards a discount to premium membership. My biggest thing is interaction. I constantly come back to the site to check the new comments and replies to my comments.
How about a “Contact Us” tab so communication becomes easier?
Agree… I was trying to fish donations from you guys for St. Baldrick’s but I couldn’t figure out how to contact you. I replied to that email that you send out at the end of the day, but I’m not sure if anyone got it.
1) I’d like to see on OPEX week a recap of the best trades for the month.
2) I’d also like to see much more of earnings related plays during that time of the quarter
3) I’d like to see a tab where we can type in the symbol and get the dollar weighted put / call ratios on any equity (simple put call ratios are very misleading)
4) Finally I would like special emphasis on options plays that are far out in the future (such as the large SPY play yesterday in Dec calls 60K). I find that strategists better further into the future tend to be more accurate and are not using options to hedge their real positions. Also monitoring leap options gives a clear idea of money flow into a sector far before an actual equity move.
I expect drop-down’s, practice portfolios, real-time quotes, open interest/volume changes, hedge fun buy notifications, etc., etc.
. Honestly, I do LIKE the site exactly the way it is a LOT, But hopefully it doesn’t get too too complex. Would like to see forums definitely, but in a different section….Good luck on the new features and much success.
Hah, just kidding
I’ll list my strat today.
Just filed $TEX, apr 16 call apr 24 put
$8.9 cost….hehe
risk/reward…
My risk on $TEX is $90 + commission (based on pricing), reporting after the bell, wish me luck!
Would definitely like a ticker symbol search feature.
Oh, one suggestion.
Here is an absolutely *FREE* widget from a site all options traders trust:
http://www.ise.com/WebForm/viewPage.aspx?categoryId=515
Would be cool to see it embedded on the site perhaps?
