iShares MSCI Eafe Index Fund (EFA) is down $2.78 to $50.30 on a rough day for Europe’s equity markets. France’s CAC 40 tumbled 3.6 percent and Germany’s DAX is down 2.6 percent. In EFA, which also holds shares from Australia and the Far East, a noteworthy options trade this morning is an Aug 52 – Sep 49 put spread, sold at 20 cents, 9000X. Aug 52s were sold and this probably rolls a position out one month and down three stikes after a 16 percent loss in EFA shares since 7/26.
