Shares are up 34 cents to $9.86 amid strength in the space today and 5,416 calls already traded on the ticker, which more than 3X the recent average daily call volume for DSX. Feb 10 calls are again seeing the bulk of the volume. 3,230 traded against 3,157 in open interest. 93 percent traded at the ask and levels of implied volatility in DSX optinos is moving up 14 percent to 48. Looks like some investors are anticipating additional gains in the underlying through the rest of the week. Earnings due Feb 28 and after the expiration.
