Welcome to the new Premium subscribers from over the weekend. Thanks for your support!

We’re likely to see an uptick in VIX this morning, as S&P futures are ticking lower amid volatility in global financial markets Monday — especially the currency markets. EUR/USD is the key pair to watch, but the USD/YEN is seeing an impressive pullback today.

With respect to individual stocks to watch, one ticker symbol I like to use in Flow Monitor early in the day is @stock. Type @stock into Flow Monitor and hit enter. Next, select “Most Actives” — menu option 4. You will see the most actively traded equity options contracts. Since this is real-time data, it is the most actives right now. Type + for more. The list will probably include some popular names like BAC and MSFT. However, sometimes some smaller names pop up in the list and it can alert you to unusual options activity. Use symbol @ETF to filter through the universe of exchange-traded funds and @index for indexes only. Click here for more tips on using Flow Monitor.

Good trading!
