Facebook leads single stock option volume for the 2nd day running, with options on track for another record day near 850,000 contracts. Out of the 145 trading days so far this year, AAPL has been the volume leader 80% of the time, followed by BAC (13%) and then Facebook, a pretty impressive showing considering options have only been listed for 59 days. 35% of today’s volume in FB is concentrated in the weekly’s that expire today, but the largest block today was in November 35 puts, where 8357 traded mid-mkt on the CBOE in what looks like a buyer-initiated trade at 2:08ET as shares traded near 23.98.
