Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) adds 80 cents to $25.14 and one player apparently sells 2900 Dec 36 calls on the stock at $1.17 to buy 2900 Dec 18 – 23 put spreads for $1.93. Green Mountain shares were roasted in the first half of the year, falling 61.9 percent year-to-date to 52-week lows of $17.11 on 7/23. The stock started percolating, however, after earnings were reported on Aug 1 and is up more than 40 percent since that time. Today’s bearish three-way, for 76 cents, looks opening and seems to express concern that trouble is again brewing for GMCR.
