RIM Oct 6 puts are seeing interest for a second day. A multi-exchange sweep of 8300 contracts for 22 cents per contract yesterday afternoon was an opening buyer, according to data from ISE. Open interest increased by 8,368 contracts to 23,645. Today’s flow might add to that OI, as 2,869 contracts were swept for 25 cents when the market was 24-25 cents and 2,279 contracts for 27 cents when the bid-ask was 26 to 27 cents. ISEE is again indicating opening buyers. 7,590 Oct 6 puts now traded, as some investors appear to be bracing for new lows in the Blackberry-maker. The stock is down 4 cents to $7.38.
