AT&T (T) adds 22 cents to $33.54 and is one of 20 Dow stocks to trade higher early-Monday. On the options front, a multi-exchange sweep of 3,369 Weekly (1/4) 34 calls for 9 cents per contract printed 10 minutes into trade. 4,300 now traded against 2,204 and the market is now 13 to 15 cents. Looks like buying and Weekly (1/4) 33.5 and 34.5 calls on AT&T are also seeing interest this morning, as are Verizon’s (VZ) Weekly (1/4) 43.5 calls. It’s not clear why investors are dialing up bullish trades on the two Dow components, but the flow seems to reflect expectations for gains in the shares through the rest of this week.
