WhatsTrading.com Options Recap — 03/21/2013

| March 21, 2013 | 0 Comments More

Stock market averages fell, as investors digested mostly in-line data on jobless claims, Philli Fed, Existing Homes Sales, and the List of Leading Indicators. Earnings news was mixed. While KB Homes, Lululemon, and Ross Stores saw gains on the heels of their reports, Oracle (ORCL) is weighing on the tech sector in the wake of its miss. FedEx (FDX) fell on earnings yesterday and the two day’s off disappointing results from two widely helds are perhaps driving a bit of profit-taking. Concerns about the Eurozone after a poor reading on German manufacturing is also factor. VIX is up 1.10 to 13.68, but volumes in the options market is light and projected to be about 13.7 million contracts. 6.3 million calls and 5.8 million puts so far. The Dow is down 62 points and the NASDAQ lost 26.
