Solar Shines on Chinese Subsidies — TSL, CSIQ, STP

Solar names are shining Wednesday on reports China will increase subsidies — Link to Story. Jinkosolar (JKS) is up 23 percent and the biggest mover in the space. Yingli (YGE) gained 18.8 percent, JA Solar (JASO) added 18 percent, Canadian Solar (CSIQ) added 15 percent, Suntech Power (STP) rose14.5 percent, and Guggenheim Global Solar (TAN) is up 9.7 percent. In options action, Trina Solar (TSL) is18 percent higher to $4.04 and is one of a few seeing noteworthy options order flow. 4,530 calls and 1,465 puts in the name so far, which is 4.5X the daily average. Dec 4 calls are the most actives on the stock. 1,030 contracts changed hands. STP and CSIQ also seeing increased options volume on the day.
